Manga, Japan's Modern Art
They say people of all ages read manga, and I agree with that. Manga started long ago at Japan, so to speak, having simple, usual, and common stories which in that time the most difficult way to tell a story. As the time goes by people change so their ideas which is the start of the new and modern. then after being popularized in Japan, it flew across the world making different ways of making it, drawing it, and reading it.
Reading a book for us Filipino's are like Americans, we read from left to right, up to down, but reading manga is almost different. First, we read manga from the upper right corner of the pages then to the upper left corner of the page. like reading a book starting form the very back, backwards.
Second, after reading the page starting from the upper right to upper left. If the middle part of the page has only three pages on it, you'll start again with the first box from the right, down then the third and the last box from the left.

Lastly, beginners don't commonly notice the border color, captions, and notes. These are the most important part of a manga page because it has the author's/illustrator's note which is commonly the guide for imagining the scene, the border color has only two colors: white and black. After reading a manga you'll realize every people of all ages can absolutely read manga.
