Essay III

Remembering Rizal

Who is Rizal? What did he do for the Philippines? Why is he a hero? There so many questions when we’re talking about Rizal but as we all know he did many things, good things for our country to save us from the brutal Spaniards. And I saw this when we watched a play entitled “Batang Rizal”
At first when I heard we are going to watch the play I say to myself “lame” because since I’m already at third year high school we are ready  known Rizal for we studied him since grade 1 until know, but our adviser said we must. When we arrived at the assumption theater I saw a huge dome in the middle of nowhere (it’s kinda creepy) All the students of our school are there from kinder (with their own parents of course) from fourth year students, teachers, principal, and even our very own priests are there but of course we waited and watched.
The plot of the play is this: Pepito, a young boy from the future opens a magical book that becomes a magical portal to the past and future. In his journey, he comes face-to-face with another young lad, Pepe aka Jose Rizal and finds himself exploring colonial Calamba. He takes Pepe to the future and they journey into an exciting series of events that reveal the truth about heroes, love and friendship.
And when I was already at home after we watched the play I finally realized Rizal is a true Philippine hero.

Manga, Japan's Modern Art

They say people of all ages read manga, and I agree with that. Manga started long ago at Japan, so to speak, having simple, usual, and common stories which in that time the most difficult way to tell a story. As the time goes by people change so their ideas which is the start of the new and modern. then after being popularized in Japan, it flew across the world making different ways of making it, drawing it, and reading it.

Reading a book for us Filipino's are like Americans, we read from left to right, up to down, but reading manga is almost different. First, we read manga from the upper right corner of the pages then to the upper left corner of the page. like reading a book starting form the very back, backwards.

Second, after reading the page starting from the upper right to upper left. If the middle part of the page has only three pages on it, you'll start again with the first box from the right, down then the third and the last box from the left.

Lastly, beginners don't commonly notice the border color, captions, and notes. These are the most important part of a manga page because it has the author's/illustrator's note which is commonly the guide for imagining the scene, the border color has only two colors: white and black. After reading a manga you'll realize every people of all ages can absolutely read manga.

 The Thing that Binds History

As we all know rings are only just an object, an accessory you only wear or just inherited from your ancestors, or evidence that you are in a relationship but for some reason some rings are far beyond any other things or accessories such as bracelets, necklaces, and or anklets.
Rings for common people are studs for making them beautiful or pretty or maybe handsome. For some reason rings make many different faces or phases to make them look common yet elegant in the naked eye. Rings are different from others because most of them are simplest accessory a person can think. If you make your senses work some rings are smooth some are rough. Some are big some are small.  For me rings are the most meaningful objects cause even though they are just an accessory they are full of mystery. Every time I think about it, it only reminds me of love and promise from two true lovers
Lastly, rings are accessories you must have and will be able to take care of it for they have many meanings and connected superstitions. For me rings always have mysteries that you must always take a look not by the appearance but their wonderful origins and history.

Introduction for a family named "Vongola"

Vongola Rings

The Vongola Rings are special Rings worn by the current Vongola Guardians after a new successor to the Vongola Famiglia is chosen. These Rings, along with the Arcobaleno Pacifiers and the Mare Rings make up the Tri-ni-set (7³), three sets of extremely powerful Rings that are said to have created the world. In the Future Arc, their importance was emphasized together with other Rings that utilize the Dying Will Flame. In the future, Tsuna of that time thought that the Vongola Rings would cause conflicts and in order to ensure the well-being of the Vongola Famiglia, destroyed them. They were first seen as Half Vongola Rings in a case that Basil held, which Squalo had to fight Yamamoto, Gokudera, and Tsuna to attain.

It was revealed by Vongola's Primo that the current Vongola Rings' Form is only temporary and was reduced to this Form as it was to ensure that the Vongola Rings were properly passed down to their proper successors. And, in order to sustain the division, Vongola Primo decided to restrain the maximum Flame Output, therefore making it weaker than the Mare Rings and the Arcobaleno's Pacifiers. Also, Vongola means "Clam," while Arcobaleno means "Rainbow," and Mare means "Sea." According to the poem, Yuni stated that "the Clam passes down its form from Generation to Generation." This could be the reason why there are so many similiarities between the Vongola Primo's Guardians and Vongola 10th's (Tsuna) Guardians, and therefore makes Tsuna and his Guardians the true heirs to the Vongola Rings.
